Flora Cord 870 corn header features

This corn header has the following features:

The header passages feature width control mechanisms that can be adjusted for different corn cob sizes by the operator, right from the cab of the combine.
The central drive of the header is located in a maintenance-free oil bath. The bath has nozzles to reduce overpressure during header operation. Unlike the majority of producers, our header does not have drip lubrication which is less effective, and due to full tightness of side shields, no dirt and plant material get into the drive part.
The header passages are equipped with high quality rollers with five slats, which ensure effective penetration and feeding of the stalks. The simple design of the rollers does not require maintenance or sharpening of the blades as is the case with knife rollers.
Robust silicone inserts between and over the header points prevent the corn cobs from falling out of the header.
The stalks are fed by strong wear-resistant chains with feeder blades that are actuated by self-adjustable and self-cleaning chain sprocket tensioners.
If necessary, chopper gearboxes can be disengaged, each individually.
The chopper gearbox has a rated speed of 2,700 rpm. It is located in the cob squeezing area to allow chopping the whole stalk to the root and turn it into mulch, which decomposes over the winter. There is no need for additional disk header runs, which significantly reduces the costs. High rotational speed of the rollers prevents leafy material from winding up.
The feed auger with larger diameter coils ensures a continuous flow of the crop into the combine feed elevator and provides a full load for the grain combines.
The rigid frame construction of the header extends its service life significantly. The frame withstands high loads during the combine vibration caused by uneven ground in the field.
